Shirley Ann Robinson

Shirley Ann Robinson of O’Fallon, MO, was born to Hazel Leslie in Ann Arbor, Michigan on January 4, 1936 and passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 89. The loving wife of the late William E. Robinson; beloved adopted daughter of the late Eri and Emma (Rouse) Youngs; devoted mother of Denise (Doug) Clark, Dennis (Judy) Murphy, and Pamela Murphy(deceased); cherished grandmother of Marcus, Amber, Warren(Laura), Brandon(Ashley), Brittany(Trevor), Lindsey, Melissa(Sean); treasured great-grandmother of Ethan, Brooke, David, Ryan, Graham, Charleigh and Caleb. Shirley is also preceded in death by her adopted sisters, Lavina Setter and Dorothy Raetz.

As a single mother, she went to work at Motorola, Franklin Park from 1960-1967 until she married William. Shirley and William made their home in Villa Park, Illinois where they had built a new home which she was very proud and happy to be in until moving to O’Fallon, MO in 1977. She was instrumental in the lives of other members of the family that moved to O’Fallon over the years. She also found joy in her bowling league and friendships she made upon moving to Missouri. Shirley liked to attend flea markets and sell her small goods, toys and trinkets as a hobby. Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
