Shirley Stevens Whitehead

Shirley Whitehead (nee: Stevens), of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the age of 88. She was the loving wife of the late Ernest A. Whitehead; beloved daughter of the late Harvey J. and Hilda Stevens; stepdaughter of the late Myrtle Stevens; devoted mother of David J. (Joyce) Whitehead, Dr. Paul S. (Prudence) Whitehead, and Susan (Kenneth Hooge) Whitehead-Clark; dear cousin of Charles E. Corrigan; cherished grandmother of Jason Clark, Darin Clark, Julie Whitehead Kainady, Emily Whitehead Crawford, Elyse Whitehead, Hannah Whitehead, and Emma Whitehead; treasured great-grandmother of Corey Reiling-Clark, Aaron Kainady, Katherine Kainady, and Reece Crawford. She is preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne Paullin. After serving her country in the U.S. Navy, during WWII, Shirley worked for B.C. MacDonald as a Computer Operator.
