Shirley A. Thorn

Shirley A. Thorn (nee Zausch), of Maryland Heights, MO, joined her Savior Friday, January 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Donald Thorn; cherished daughter of the late Walter and Leona Zausch; devoted mother of James (Bonnie) Thorn, Steve (Laura) Thorn and Doris (Joseph) Enlow; loving grandmother of Jamie (Matthew) Cahalin, Bradley Thorn, Tyler Thorn, Tori Thorn and Marissa Toghiyany; treasured great-grandmother of Asher, Rori and Giovanny.

Shirley was preceded in death by 3 siblings. She was an aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Shirley served The Lord with all her heart by teaching children about Jesus for 30 years. She also was a greeter at Grace for several years. Shirley loved history and was a dosen at the Campbell House and the Botanical Gardens. She loved to cook, paint and decorate.

She loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Shirley is fondly remembered and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to Botanical Gardens.
