Stan Gongwer

Stan Gongwer, Lakeland, Florida formerly of St. Charles, August 3, 2002 age 83. Dear husband of Mary Susan Gongwer; dear father of Anthony E. Gongwer, Troy L. Gongwer, Marjorie E. (Larry) Balch and the late Larry Eugene Gongwer; dear grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 16; preceded in death by his parents: Ray Gongwer, Cora Snyder Gongwer and stepmother Jenny Gongwer. Mr. Gongwer was employed by McCabe Powers for 20 years. He was active in St. Charles Junior Footbal League and St. Charles area baseball leagues. He served in the U.S. Navy from August 1944 to February 1946.
