Stanley A. Smith

Smith, Stanley A., of O’Fallon, MO, died on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at the age of 70; loving husband of 47 years to Chinh Smith; beloved son of the late Albert Smith and Lucille Lee; devoted father of Adam Smith, Mark (Stephanie) Smith, and Philip Smith; cherished grandfather of Kristen Hellmann, Ashlyn Smith, and Audrey Smith; dear brother of Janeen Jorgensen-Smith, Ginger (Tim) Hoover, Michael (Ann) Smith, and Cindy White; and also survived by his stepfather, Kermit Lee. He is preceded in death by his sister Gloria Jordan.

Stanley proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Airborne Division, during the Vietnam War, helping keep Hueys in the air. He was a former member of Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling in several Friday night leagues in St. Charles with family and friends. Stanley started Dial-A-Pizza in 1971 in the St. Charles MO area. He was the owner of Smitty Mini Donuts since 1979 at the Soulard Farmers Market and founded Donut Man Stan, Inc. catering in 2001. Mostly, Stanley loved being with is family and friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
