Stephan A. Roth, of O Fallon, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the age of 76. Loving husband of Estella Roth; beloved son of the late George and Dorothy Roth; devoted father of Michelle Stewart, Steve Roth, Sara (Jeff) Hollandsworth, Thomas Roth, Tricia (Mike) Rohlfing and Nick (Lauren) Roth; cherished grandfather of Corey (Sara) Stewart, Lacey Stewart, Ian Hollandsworth, Ava Hollandsworth, Chloe Schultz, Leah Carlton, Caidyn Rohlfing and Roan Roth; treasured great-grandfather of Sean Stewart; dear brother of Nancy (John) Clawson and the late Albert (Carol) Roth; and dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Stephan will be remembered as a loving family man who cherished spending time with family, especially his grandkids. He had a great sense of humor and wonderful smile. He would light up the room with his laughter and ability to joke with just about anyone. He truly enjoyed the art of conversation and could talk the paint off the wall! Wherever he went he was sure to make a new friend.
Stephan loved food, whether eating, cooking, or trying new cuisines, he liked varieties from all around the world. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family to various parts of the world, including England, Spain, Jamaica, and California. He and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in New Orleans with their entire family, which was a tribute to where they honeymooned.
Stephan was a true outdoorsman and looked forward to gardening his vegetables every season. He also enjoyed fishing, frogging, hunting and liked to do woodworking in his spare time. Stephan was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
