Stephen G. Stockton

Steve G. Stockton, of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017, at the age of 67.  Loving husband of 37 years to the late Linda Sue Stockton; beloved son of the late Clarence and Ida Stockton; devoted father of Jason Stockton, Stephanie (Jason) Helfer, Brenda (Matthew) Heathcoat, Dawn (Joseph) Rossi, and Heather (Martin) Moore; cherished grandfather of Garrett and Dylan Helfer, Candice, Brook, and Chelsea Heathcoat, Justin and Megan Moore, Dakota, Jacob, and Caleb Moore; dearest brother of Madge (Jerry) Eggering, Chris Powers, Danny (Maria) Stockton, Ray (Colleen) Stockton, Scott (Debbie) Stockton, and the late Jim Stockton; and dear brother-in-law of Nina, Nancy, Phyllis, and Doug. Steve is also survived by his fiancé, Julie McIntyre.

Steve retired from Schnucks after more than 45 years as a Meat Cutter.  He was the ultimate “Helping Handyman” and could fix anything he put his hands on.  He enjoyed playing guitar and golfing, and was a very talented artist.  He volunteered weekly with Meals On Wheels.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  Steve was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
