Stephen J. Cox

Stephen J. Cox, of Alton, IL, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of the late Carla Cox; devoted father of Timothy (Amanda) Cox, Jennifer (Matthew) Shine, Stephanie (Marnell Gregory, Sr.) Cox and the late Daniel (Jaci Hassler (survives)) Cox; loving grandfather of Colton Cox, Emilia Cox, Samantha Shine and Tyler Cox; dear brother of Joan Feise, Janet (Jack) Wilson and Michael Cox; Stephen is also survived by Raynell and Marnell Jr. Gregory, and Noah and Elijah Hassler.

Stephen proudly and honorably served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. He was a member of Iron Workers Union. Stephen enjoyed card games and most of all spending time with his family. Stephen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
