Steve Tharp

Steve Tharp, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at the age of 57. Beloved son of Rebecca Sue (Bill) Denny and the late Bud Tharp; devoted father of  Niki (Justin) Kennedy, Shannon Tharp; stepfather of Dustin Teague, Ashli Iverson, and Dillon Waites; cherished grandfather of Laci Kennedy, Caden DiCianno, Michael Maniaci, Ivy Waites, and Fiona Aubuchon; loving significant other of Karen Waites; dear brother of Eric (Rose Dinet) Denny, Russ (Jennifer) Tharp, Tim (Becky) Tharp, and Jeanie (Shane) Ratliff; Steve is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended band family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn "Mimi" Harris and brother, Michael Phillip Tharp.

Steve was the lead guitarist of Staggercatt band. He was a music enthusiast and guitar was Steve’s life. Steve was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
