Steven A. Darner

Steven A. Darner, of Saint Louis, MO, loving son, father, papa, brother, and cherished loved one, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the age of 57. Steve was born November 19, 1964, in St. Louis, MO to George P. and the late Mary Elaine (Cameron) Darner. Devoted father of Nicole Darner (fiancé Michael Brady); loving papa of Carter J. Spalding; dear brother of Cindy (Tom) Wilson, Jeanine (Jeff) Smith, Michael Darner (Alesha Nelson), Elizabeth (Mark) Miller; significant other, Michelle L. Clifton, mother of Josh Layden and Loren AshLee Clifton; former spouse, Margie Darner; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Steve proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Legion, Elks Lodge # 2503 and a proficient and valued 31-year Valve Operations Manager, with his most recent 22 years at Pioneer Industrial Corporation in St. Louis, MO. Steve was always generous in helping those in need, an avid bowler who never met a stranger and will be missed by many.

In honor of Steve a celebration of life will be held at 3pm Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Frontier Bowl; 177 Frontier Park Dr, O'Fallon, MO 63366. At that time, donations will be put towards Steve’s end of life expenses. Organizers of the event are also requesting that attendees wear Harley or their favorite sports team attire. You may purchase shirts on location made in remembrance of Steve.
