Steven Carl Baum, of Marthasville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the age of 66. Beloved son of the late Carl and Eunice Baum; devoted father of Kacy (Chad) Ulery and Josh (Leah) Baum; cherished grandfather of Hailey Ulery, Peyton Ulery, and Carlyn Baum; dear brother of Tom (Yvonne) Baum and Julie (Kevin) Shine; and treasured nephew of Joan Hallemeier. Steve was a wonderful uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Steve worked for Butler International for more than 32 years as a graphic designer. He then went to work for St. Charles County Parks Department and retired after 12 years as a supervisor at Klondike Park.
Steve was a true family man and his family meant the world to him, and he would do anything for them. He always looked forward to spending time with his granddaughters, and he taught them everything he knew about life.
Steve enjoyed many hobbies such as fishing, hunting, woodworking, bee keeping, saw-milling, smoking/curing meats, cooking, guns and reloading shells. He loved the outdoors and being out in nature.
Steve will be remembered for his love of his family and his kind heart. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to create a memorial at one of St. Charles County area parks.
