Steven Clark “Steve” Posler

Posler, Steven Clark "Steve", of Maryland Heights, MO, died on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the age of 47. Steven was born to Gerry and Shirley Posler on November 4, 1966 in Ames, Iowa. They moved to Manhattan, Kansas in 1974. He graduated from Manhattan High School in 1984 and from Kansas State University in 1990. Steve married Julie Ozenkoski on June 28, 2008 in Manhattan, KS. He is the devoted stepfather of Steven (Mischele) Thomure, and grandfather of Quinn; brother of Mark (Jeanette) Posler and Brian (Christy) Posler; uncle of Tiana, Spencer, Timothy, and Emma. Steve is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Opal Weeda, and Glen and Helen Posler. Steve was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, Hog (Harley Owners Group) St. Charles Chapter, Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, and College Avenue United Methodist Church. Steve had a smile that could light up a room and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
