Steven Deason of Saint Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 28 on Monday, June 8, 2020. Known fondly as “Nemo” to his family, Steven was a much beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He enjoyed family time near the water, especially the cool springs of Florida. He expressed himself through music and art, whether it was his own or belonging to others. Steven also enjoyed comics and skateboarding, and was a great animal lover, with a special fondness for reptiles, especially his snakes. He was born in Texas, which would explain the size of his heart and his kindness, and is remembered by his loved ones for his infectious energy and free-spirited nature. He loved life, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched forever.
Steven leaves behind his sons, Atreyu and Avery Deason; his mother and step-father, Sadonni and Danny Martin; his father Woodrow Deason; his sister and brother-in-law, Ashley Deason and Nic Messbarger; his brothers Michael Meyer, Jr., James Meyer, and Hunter Meyer; his step-brother Daniel Martin; and his nieces and nephews, Skylar Deason, Colson Messbarger, Natalia Meyer, Daniel Meyer, and Camila Meyer.
Steven will forever and always be loved and missed.
Memorial contributions in Steven’s honor may be made to the
