Steven Joseph Potter

December 17, 1956 — May 24, 2020

Steven Joseph Potter, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the age of 63.

Beloved husband of 27 years to Pamela Potter (nee McCoy); cherished son of the late Joseph and Laverne Potter; devoted father of Eric (Crystal) Masterson; loving grandfather of Gauge Richard Masterson and Briley Austin Lee Masterson; dear brother of Dick Potter; brother-in-law of Lonnie McCoy, Lorie Krepps, and the late Ricky McCoy, Roger Dale McCoy, and Wanda Herter. Steven is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, and his cherished dog Buddy.

Steve served his country with honor in the United States Army. He then went on to a career as a truck driver and drove for Trans-Lease for 35 years. In his free time, Steve loved to enjoy family gatherings. He liked swimming in the pool, barbecues, and throwing darts. He also enjoyed going on float trips, NASCAR, and baseball. Nothing compared to time spent with his grandsons however, Gauge and Briley were the light of his life. Steve is fondly remembered for his sense of humor, and fun-loving personality. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial contributions may be made in Steve's honor to the American Cancer Society.
