Steven Schulte

Schulte, Steven Godfrey of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the age of 70.

Beloved husband of Kathy Schulte and the late Barbara Schulte; devoted father of Ellen (Randy) Eikel, John (Kolleen) Schulte, and Matt (Shannon) Schulte; loving grandfather of Peyton, Paige, Phoebe, Drew, Connor, Ali, and Lucas; dear brother of Mark (Judy), Roger (Colleen), and Sr. Rose Miriam, OP., brother-in-law of Phyllis Schulte. Steven is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Frances Schulte, his brothers, Nick, Stan, and David Schulte, and his sister Sr. Mary Jo Schulte, OSF.

Steve was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters.  He taught in the Pattonville School District for 32 years and was the Department Chair of the Math Department.  He was the past president of Pattonville National Education Association. Steve served as the past president of Society of St. Vincent DePaul and was a member of the Knights of Columbus of All Saints Catholic Church.  He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and gardening.  Steve loved spending time with his family, especially playing games with his grandchildren, and attending their sporting events.  Steve was a true "Parrothead".  He will be remembered as a loving, caring, and generous person, whose gift in life was not just teaching, but the ability to mentor and support others. He never met a stranger. Steve was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
