Sue Ohlms

Sue Ann Ohlms (nee McPherson), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Ohlms; cherished daughter of the late John and Marjorie McPherson. Devoted mother of Terry (Susan Gitlin) Ohlms and Cindy (Steve) Owenby; loving grandmother of Kristen (Dustin) Freeman, Jessica (Jordan) Hoffman, Courtney Ohlms, Heather (Kyle) Biernbaum, Katie (Shane) Sanders, Jodee (Stephen) Foley, Erin Owenby, Nicole Owenby, David (Fiona) Gitlin, Hannah (Andy) Etherington, and Andrew (Stephan) Gitlin; treasured great-grandmother of Finn, Ollie, and Piper Biernbaum, Nora and Addi Sanders, Levi, Ben, Adam, and Thadeus Freeman, Clark and Wade Hoffman, Jacob Foley, Presley Lloyd, Marshal and Rory Gitlin, Camie and Jack Etherington, and Max Gitlin; dear sister of the late Jay McPherson

Sue was an active participant at St. Roberts Catholic Church and had previously been involved with the Woman's Piker’s Auxiliary Club. Additionally, she served as a Girl Scout Leader and was a valued member of the St. Charles bowling league. Sue loved gardening and flowers, and she found joy in playing cards, games, and solving puzzles in her leisure time. Sue was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Sue's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.
