Susan Laverne Notestine

Susan Laverne Notestine, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the age of 80. Cherished daughter of the late Bernard William and Laverne Muriel Steele. Devoted mother of Lisa (Michael) Stephens and Patrick A. (Catherine) Notestine, Jr.; Treasured grandmother of Lily Stein, Louis Stein, Leo Stein, Helen Notestine, Abigail Notestine, and Patrick Notestine, III; dear sister of Bernard Steele, Jr., Patricia (the late Robert) Schramm, Barbara (Thomas) Ebl, and the late John (Ann) Steele; loving aunt and cousin.  

Susan enjoyed shopping, scrapbooking and doing puzzles. She loved her weekly Friday game night with her sisters. Susan enjoyed cooking for her family, especially her famous Mostacchili. More than anything, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and always enjoyed family vacations. Susan was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Susan's name to Catholic Charities of St. Louis.
