Susan Theresa Wood

Wood, Susan Theresa (nee: Clements), of St. Charles, MO, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the age of 84. Loving wife of 31 years to the late Kenneth L. Wood; beloved daughter of the late Walter and Lucy Clements; devoted mother of Kahnl (Linda) Wood, Rahnl (Sandra) Wood, Maria (John) Morse, Lucia (Philip) Gentry, Shawn (Lynn) Wood, Kelly (Karen) Wood, and Fred (Kerry) Wood II; cherished grandmother of 17; treasured great-grandmother of 15; dear sister of Agnus Hancock, Harold Clements, and Walter Clements, Jr. She is preceded in death by her siblings Robert "Bobby" Clements, Gerald Clements, Edward "Eddie" Clements, and Anna Clements.

Susan raised her children and babysat 6 children in her home on a regular basis for 25 years. She received her associate’s degree for child development from Florissant Valley Community College, where she was on the honor role. Susan was a director with at La Petite Academy for 10 years. She was a devoted catholic, she was a long time parishioner of Assumption Catholic Church, she served as a Eucharistic minister, and was a member of the World Apostolate of Fatima prayer organization.

Susan enjoyed reading, praying, shopping, helping others, and spending time with family and friends.
