Suzanne Koonce

Koonce, Suzanne, of Bridgeton, Missouri, died on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the age of 71. Beloved daughter of the late Guy and Josephine Holland; devoted mother of Steven (Tina) Koonce, Brian (Karen) Koonce, and Angela (Adrian) Cardinale; cherished grandmother of Jason and Nicole Koonce, Emily (Jake) Free, Noah, Halle, Joel Koonce, and Justin, Blake, and Adrianna Cardinale; treasured great-grandmother of Madison and Marissa Koonce, and Cora Free; dear sister of Guy (Treesa) Holland, Paul (Joyce) Holland, Donna (Donald) Haskins, Jill (John) Holmes, Nancy Holland, John David (Linda) Holland, and Chris (Jan) Holland; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Despite a myriad of set backs, Suzanne was undaunted and continued to live life to its fullest. She accepted challenges with grace and dignity with an ever positive attitude. She never met a stranger and could be counted on to remember everyone's name, her memory remained well intact even as her own body failed.
