Suzanne M. Felder (nee Pierce) was called to eternal life on January 27, 2021.
Loving wife of the late Dr. James P. Felder, beloved mother of Danny, Blaise (Kathy Pohl), Peter, Jimmy, Claire, Eric, Andrea (Danny Williams); grandmother of Hannah, Elizabeth and Alexandra Felder, A.J. (Katherine Estes), Aaron, and Drew (Renee Tetrault) Felder, Maggie and Ben Alexander; Anna, Caroline, Maria, and Jane Williams; great-grandmother of Porter, Parson and Presley Felder; Rex and Beaux Felder; Lorelei Felder; Charlie Williams and Marlo Wright. Sue is survived by her sister, Bonnie Pierce Dickhens-Layton of St. Louis, brothers-in-law: Dr. Jerry (Mary) Felder of Utah and John Felder of California.
Daughter of the late Al and Elsie (Koob) Pierce. Former parishioner of St. Engelbert’s parish, graduate of Incarnate Word Academy, summa cum laude graduate of Maryville College and Maryville Sports Hall of Fame member.
With a bright, beautiful smile and cheerful disposition, Sue elegantly navigated her full life. She was quick to encourage others and eager to share her kindness, intellect and talents. Sue revealed God’s love in all she did as a friend, wife and mother. Sue was also the joyful, lifelong caregiver to her deaf and disabled son Peter.
Sue was a donor to Saint Louis University’s Gift Body program. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 301 First Capitol Dr., St. Charles, MO.
