Sydney A. Lauck

Sydney A. Lauck (nee: Yates) of Saint Charles, MO, died Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Dale Lauck; cherished daughter of the late Sydney and Beatrice Yates; devoted mother of Sharon (Michael) Gompf, Stephen Curtis, Keith Curtis, and Bruce Curtis; dear step-mother of Kevin Lauck; loving grandmother of Colette Curtis, Keith (Ashlee) Curtis, Jr., Alexandra (Nathan) Walker, Gregory Curtis, Samantha Gompf, Todd Curtis, Nicholas Curtis, Ethan Curtis, and Ryleigh Curtis; treasured great-grandmother of Cade Walker; dear sister of Burton (the late Nancy) Yates and the late Eleanor Jane Bush.

Sydney loved photography, animals, and traveling. She also enjoyed singing in the choir and playing the piano. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Charles. She was a volunteer at the Salvation Army. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
