Sylvia Mary Buerk (nee Sickmann), age 66, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 17, 1953 to Ralph and Marian Sickmann of Overland, Missouri. Married to her husband, Joseph F. Buerk III, on October 29, 1976. She was a devout Catholic, always serving and praying for those in need. Always a dedicated mother, she loved and treasured her children and grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. The kindest and most genuine person you could ever meet.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Marian Sickmann; her mother and father-in-law Joseph and Ida Buerk Jr.; and her brother-in-law Brian Kronmueller.
Sylvia is survived by her husband Joseph; her children Joseph Buerk IV; Kevin (Sunitha) Buerk, and Katherine (David) Weber; her grandchildren Keean, Aadi, Nayan, Kiran, and Declan; her brother Charles (Ann) Sickmann; her sisters Joan (Patrick) Hutchens, Lois (Albert) Herbert; and Mary Kronmueller; her Buerk brothers and sisters; her nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.
