T. Donald "Don" Moore of St. Charles died peacefully at home in the hope of Christ's resurrection on Sunday, June 7, 2009. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Teresa (nee Gilardi), his daughter, Sheryl (Bruce) Larkin, his stepchildren, Pete Grass, Greg (Patti) Grass, and Jayne (Larry) Mueller, his grandchildren, Jason Grass, Jacob Brian (Lisa) Larkin, Todd (Michelle) Larkin, Jessica (Darin) Morris, Emily Grass, and Meredith (Jeff) Kuhlman, his four great-grandchildren, Connor, Paige, Emma and Quinn and his sister, Joan Moore. Born on November 4, 1929, Don was the son of Thomas and Margaret (Weber) Moore. He attended Normandy High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia and married his high school sweetheart, Betty Watts, who preceded him in death in 1977. Don was an employee of Jackes-Evans Mfg. Co. for more than 30 years, serving as Traffic Manager and then as I.T. Director. He later became an independent computer consultant at several large St. Louis companies, including Anheuser-Busch. After retiring, Don was able to actively pursue his true passion, golf at his beloved Bogey Hills Country Club, where he had acquired so many friends on those fairways during his nearly fifty-year membership. Don was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church where he served as Treasurer of the Vestry and performed many volunteer duties. The family will receive friends to celebrate Don's life at Trinity Episcopal Church, 318 S. Duchesne Dr., St. Charles, Mo., from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13 followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m..
