Tammy Potter

Tammy Haynes Potter, age 65, resident of St. Charles, MO went to be with Jesus in their heavenly home on 12 July 2024. 

Tammy was born in Fairfield, Illinois on 9 February 1959. 

Tammy graduated from Wayne High School, Huber Heights, Oh in 1977. After graduating from High School, she worked for EF MacDonald Travel Company in Dayton, Ohio in the Accounts Payable department. She attended and graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. After graduating from Wright State University, she was employed as a Medical Technologist by International Clinic laboratory (ICL) in Maryland Heights and eventually took a position at Barnes-Jewish Hospital where she worked until retiring March 2021. 

She was a long-time member of Harvester Christian Church in St. Peters, MO where she volunteered in the children's ministry. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William (4 March 2020) and Joyce (13 June 2024) Haynes. 

She is survived by her husband Allen Potter and their two children Steven (Amanda) Potter and Kristen (Michael) Beaver; grandchildren Logan Potter and Landon Potter (expected in July); her brother John (Isabella) Haynes, niece Audrey (Aaron) Gayowsky; brother-in-laws Michael (Pat) Potter, Daniel (Ann) Potter, sister-in-laws Kathy (Herb) Vance and Susan Potter; and a wonderful group of cousins along with their spouses. Tammy deeply loved all of her extended family and friends and all of the good times they had together. 

Memorials may be made in Tammy's name to St. Jude's Hospital.
