Teresa McDaniel

It is with great sorrow we announce Teresa McDaniel, age 64, left this world on Saturday February 11^th at Barnes Jewish Hospital St. Peters.  It is also with great joy and comfort knowing that she is now with our Lord and Savior.

Teresa was born on March 22^nd, 1958 in Oblong Illinois to her much beloved parents, Bill and Shirlene (Davis) Burcham.  She deeply loved her husband and best friend, Bill McDaniel.  Surviving include her brother Robin (Shirley) Burcham, and 5 children, Jarred (Madeline) McDaniel of Decatur IL; Ashlee Beck of Saint Charles, MO;  Brett (Alicia) McDaniel of Bloomington, Il, Eric (Joanna) Beck of Ballwin, MO; and Seth McDaniel of Wentzville, MO, as well as many cousins, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.   She also adored being “Gigi” to 6 grandchildren (Annabelle, Alec, Arlo, August, Lily, and Sophie).   It would be remiss to not mention her love of animals, especially her dogs. 

In addition to her love of spending time with her grandchildren and dogs, she loved spending time outdoors tending to her flowers and plants, baking, visiting the local wineries, and listening to the same 60s and 70s rock bands she saw in concert multiple times in her youth.

For those who wish to make a donation in her honor, the family kindly asks for those donations to be directed to Friends of Kids with Cancer.

A celebration of her life will be held on February 18^th, 2023 at the First Christian Church in Moweaqua Illinois.  The visitation will be held at 4pm with services following at 5pm.
