Terry G. Borton

Terry G. Borton, of St. Charles, Missouri, Baptized in the Hope of Christ Resurrection, Friday, December 12, 2008 at the age of 65. Loving husband of Joyce Borton (nee: Schwartz); dear son of Leora Borton Beck and the late George Albert Borton; devoted father of Vicki (Jim) Purcell and Greg (Angie) Borton; treasured grandfather of Jamie and Andrew Purcell and Ava Borton; dear brother of Jim Borton; dearest brother-in-law, uncle, and cherished friend to many. Terry was an Insurance Broker and operated T.G. Borton and Associates, Inc. in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Terry was active in Bridgeton City Government for many years and served on the city council for 10 years. He was also a member of Kiwanis Club of Bridgeton, Anchor Yankers Boat Club, and Alton Eagles. He was musically talented playing in several bands throughout his life by playing such instruments as the electric bass, banjo, guitar and keyboard. He was also active in such local bands as The Rain Drops, The Retreads and Rhythm Express. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or masses.
