Terryl Jane Chiles (nee Evans), of Knoxville, TN, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the age of 83. Terryl is the daughter of the late Fred and Blanch Evans. Beloved wife of James "Bob" Robert Charles, Sr.; devoted mother to James Robert (Susan) Chiles, II and Phillip Stewart (Ann) Chiles; loving grandmother to Whitney (Maurice) Layman, Derek Chiles, Alexander Chiles, Fletcher Chiles, and Mallory Chiles; great grandmother to Maurice Layman; and dear sister to Fred (Judy) Evans.
Terryl was a devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was supportive and very involved in her children’s lives. After Bob’s retirement, Terryl and Bob travelled all over the world to 72 countries where they created many memories together. Terryl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
