In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations sent to the Nature Center Fund at the YMCA of the Ozarks, Route 2, Potosi, MO 63664. Visitation and a celebration of life will be held for Thelma ''June'' Dahlin, 76 years old, of Old Monroe, Missouri on Friday, March 26, 2004 at Baue Funeral Home, St. Charles, Missouri. Cremation and memorial service will be private. Mrs. Dahlin died on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at her home in Old Monroe, Missouri. She was born Septemer 13, 1927, in Belgrade, Missouri. June was the daughter of Carl and Marie McNabb. She attended school in St. Louis, graduating from Southwest High School in 1945. Mrs. Dahlin worked at the Frisco Railroad offices from 1945 through 1951, Goldie's Department Store and the SS Admiral. She married William David Dahlin on October 28, 1950 and lived in Webster Groves, MO, Tampa, FL, Leawood, KS, Chesterfield MO, Duluth GA, and Old Monroe MO throughout their 53 years of marriage. Bill survives at the home. Throughout her life, Mrs. Dahlin was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and neighbor. Her varied activities included travel, entertaining, golf, tennis, fishing, and aerobics, as well as co-authoring a book about raising six children. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Other survivors include her six children: Debra Pepple (Sam), Lawrence, KS; Ronald Dahlin (JoAnne), Suwanne, GA; Cathy Bononi (Larry), Kirkwood, MO; Sandra Reed (Kevin), Winfield, MO; Thomas Dahlin (Sue), Toronto, Canada; and Julie Gizinski (Steve), Haymarket, VA. Mrs. Dahlin is also survived by two sisters, Marjorie Beckerle and Audrey Seipp, and two brothers, Paul and Robert McNabb. Other survivors include her 25 precious grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 1PM to 9PM on Friday, March 26, 2004 at the Baue Funeral Home, Exit 225 on I-70 in St. Charles, MO.
