Peters, Thelma Pearl (nee: Fullenwider), 92, St. Charles, passed away May 21, 2010 in Chesterfield, MO. Mrs. Peters, the daughter of Ray Fullenwider and wife Sarah Alice, nee Elliott, was born January 30, 1918, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She received her schooling in Muskogee and later St. Charles, Missouri, graduating from St. Charles High School in 1935. She attended Sanford Business College in St. Louis, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Leonard H. Peters on May 14, 1938 at St Charles Borromeo, St Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Richard Lee Peters, April 23, 1974, and one granddaughter, Kelly Jean Peters, October 19, 1967. She is survived by one son, Paul H. Peters, St. Charles; three daughters, Mary Lu Peters, St. Charles, Jane Turton and husband Bill, Chesterfield and Lisa Ory and husband Greg, St. Charles; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Abbott, Boise, ID; one sister, Mary Hays, Fort Myers, FL; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Peters was an excellent seamstress and needleworker and had her own tailoring business for many years making everything from bridal gowns to Barbie clothes. She enjoyed reading and was an avid Cardinals Fan. She and her husband loved camping and traveling. Services: The family is being served by The Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO where visitation will be held Monday, May 24, 2010 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Service 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO. Interment St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
