Theodore “Ted” Appelbaum

Appelbaum, Theodore 'Ted', of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the age of 67. Loving son of the late Theodore Ferdinand and Charlotte Grace Appelbaum; devoted father of Meghan Appelbaum, Kathleen 'Katie' Appelbaum, John Appelbaum, and David Appelbaum; dear brother of Martha Slover, Mary (David) Yackey, Janice Appelbaum, Jim Appelbaum, and Susan Appelbaum; beloved uncle of 3 nieces, 1 great-nephew and 2 great-nieces; best friend of John Ramspott. He is also survived by numerous cousins in Missouri, California and Maine. Ted is preceded in death by his sister Joan Dodson. He was a member of the VFW, enjoyed Volksmarching, and loved reading. Ted was a decorated Air Force pilot who flew in the Vietnam War.
