Thomas A. Bredensteiner

December 1, 1945 — June 23, 2015

Thomas 'Hog' Aloysius Bredensteiner passed away suddenly on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at the age of 69.
Tom was born on Saturday December 1, 1945 in Saint Charles, Missouri, the youngest of four children to Aloysius Peter and Laverne Marie (Fischer) Bredensteiner.
Tom graduated from St. Peter Grade School and Duchesne High School. He attended Northeast Missouri State. Tom also served his country in the Army.
Tom is survived by Constance Sue (Ochs) who he was married to for 43 years. His children Brett (Kirsten) Bredensteiner, Reed Bredensteiner, and Erin (Blake) Colman. He was known as 'Pops' to his grandchildren Ella Bredensteiner, Alan Bredensteiner, Will Bredensteiner, and Max Colman. Also survived by Brother Gerry (Barb) Bredensteiner and brother-in-law Robert Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents,  brother and sister-in-law John 'Pic' (Shirley) Bredensteiner, and sister Carol Wilson. Tom 'Hoggie' was an uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Hog was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church his whole life. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He played basketball, baseball, and bowled growing up. Into adulthood he loved golfing, bowling, softball, horseshoes, and watching his children and grandchildren participating in sports. Whenever someone asked for help he could never say no and at times would help total strangers. Cutting wood and keeping his cars clean were always a necessity. BBQ and omelets when prepared by him were a must have.
Tom's professional career was spent as an operations or project manager for various companies that installed phone systems. Tom was dedicated to his craft and always made sure he exceeded his customers' expectations. After a project he would always say to leave the area the way you found it, meaning make sure it is cleaned up and looks like new. He spent his career helping people within companies communicate easier and making work life a bit easier.
Above all he loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Catholic School, Duchense High School, or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
