Thomas Bendyk

Thomas Bendyk, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the age of 64. Beloved husband of 35 years to Kathleen Marie Bendyk; cherished son of the late Paul Victor Bendyk Sr. and Rose Marie Bendyk; devoted father of Meghan Elizabeth (Tim) Furlow, Thomas Victor Bendyk, Robert Michael Bendyk, Bridgett Kathleen Bendyk; devoted grandfather to Kenneth William Furlow; dear brother of Paul Victor Bendyk, Jr. and John Michael Bendyk, Sharon Denise Wood, Laura Leigh (Eric) Engebretson, and the late Cynthia Rose Bendyk. Tom also leaves behind a large extended family and friends.  

Tom proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy. By trade, he was a very talented commercial painter with Bazan Painting for 31 years and member of the Painters District Council No. 2. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in the fresh air. Hunting, golfing and fishing were among some of his favorite activities along with riding and working on his ‘72 Triumph.  

Tom was a dedicated husband and father. He valued his family most. He was always in attendance at his children’s events and active in all their sports. He and his wife, Kathy, shared 35 years of marriage together and built a beautiful life.  

Tom was very kind and giving. He always had a smile on his face and a hand to lend to those in need.  He had a warm heart and was sure to make everyone feel welcome and included. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Thomas's name to Donor's Choice.
