Thomas Buda

Thomas Buda, of Saint Charles, MO, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Rose Ann Buda (nee: Haemmerle); longtime friend and companion of Sheron Tannehill; cherished son of the late Eugene and Millie Buda; devoted father of Michael (Barbara) Buda, Diane Hall, Mark Buda, Robert (Pam) Buda, and the late Gerald Buda; loving grandfather of Michelle (Rick) Chalcraft, Jeanee (Steve) Lupo, Trisha Buda, Michael (Lisa) Buda, Christopher Hall, Daniel (Jessica) Hall, Adam Hall, Elizabeth (Christopher) Johnston, Bill (Krysta) Voegetli, and Elizabeth Voegetli; treasured great-grandfather of Sydney, Michael, Mya, Macy, Stevie, Derick, Trent, Dylan, Evelyn, Joseph, and one on the way, Baby Buda. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Irene Buda and his sister, Audrey Buda. Our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He loved people and never met a stranger. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, caring for his lawn, photography, and spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoyed dining at Red Lobster, where he went on his first date with Sheron, his longtime companion. Thomas was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
