Thomas Edward Stuetzer

Thomas Edward Stuetzer, 64, from O’Fallon, Missouri passed away in his home on April 24, 2021 surrounded by his wife and children. Tom had fought bravely against Stage IV bladder cancer for a little over two years before he lost that battle. Tom was born to parents, Louis and Myra “Colleen” Stuetzer, on June 5, 1956. He graduated from Roosevelt High School, St. Louis in 1974. He married Rosalie on November 21, 1985. Tom was a salesman and retail manager all of his adult life, working for various companies. Tom is survived by his loving wife, his children; Rachel Pelphrey (Shawn Penning), Rebecca Lambert (Andrew), Rhianna Juge (Sean), and Renee Sarakas (Stephen), his 8 grandchildren; Jordan (15), Jayden (11), Jett (3), Amelia (9), Clara (7), Eliza (3), Theo (3), and Isabelle (5 months), his sisters; Donna Maggard (Gene) and Diane Nichols (Fred) as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom loved his family, animals, and enjoyed watching sports (specifically the Rams before they left St. Louis) and eating Imo’s pizza. He spent his free time gardening, taking care of his lawn, and barbecuing. He enjoyed quiet mornings reading the newspaper and had a passion for writing songs and poems. He will forever be remembered for his sarcastic sense of humor and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Memorial contributions in Thomas’s name may be made to Siteman Cancer Center.
