Deacon Thomas F. Dehler, of O Fallon, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Priscilla Dehler; husband of the late Janet Burnett Dehler; cherished son of the late Hans and Alice Dehler; devoted father of Thomas (Pam) Dehler, Jr., Alicia Dehler, Beth Del Rosario, and the late Janet Dixon; step-father of Tracy (Brian) Webb-Wiley, Robert (Kelly) Webb, Mark (Tami) Webb, Gary (Candy) Webb; loving grandfather of eleven and the late Joshua Rector; treasured great-grandfather of seventeen; dear brother of Barbara Baker; Thomas is survived by many other family members and friends. Thomas is also preceded in death by his beloved dog Houlie.
Thomas was a member of The Franciscans, Eagles and Knights of Columbus. He worked at Alton Illinois School District then at Blue Island Illinois School District. Thomas served as Deacon at St. Lawrence O’Toole before moving to O’Fallon, MO where he went to serve as Deacon at St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul until he retired. He enjoyed studying Theology and the Bible. Thomas loved traveling and music, especially Jazz and symphonies. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Thomas was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Deacon Thomas's name to St. Louis Diaconate or
St. Paul Catholic School.
