Thomas Lang of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away at the age of 67 on Saturday, December 8, 2018.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia “Pat” Lang; his dear children, Kelly (Greg) Goforth and Annie (Jason) Clayton; his grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, and Nora Clayton, and Parker and Graham Goforth; and his siblings, Jean (Dan) Choinka, Patty (Joe) Harris, and Steve (Lori) Lang. He is preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Ruth Lang; and his siblings Jim (Jo Marie) Lang and Peggy (Kenny Seaman) Lang.
Tom was married to Pat, the love of his life, for 45 years. He attended the University of Missouri in Columbia where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering. He spent his entire career at Ameren, starting as an engineer in 1973 and ending with his retirement as the Superintendent of Distribution Control in 2008. After retiring, Tom enjoyed being with his grandkids who adored him and visiting family in Rochester, New York, playing golf and fishing. He was intelligent, soft spoken, caring and witty. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends who will miss him dearly.
