Thomas McDonell

McDonell, Thomas Joseph, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the age of 76. Loving husband of Effie Lorraine (nee McCulloch) for 56 years and dearly loved father of seven children, Catherine Compton of St. Peters, MO, Michael McDonell (Darlene)of Tampa, FL, Joan Storey (Loren)of Bellevue, NE, Patricia Sarne (Ken) of San Antonio, FL, Jennifer Conklin (Bill) of O’Fallon, MO, Lora Sparkman (Gary) of St. Charles, MO, and Andrew McDonell (Karen) of St. Charles, MO. Grandpa leaves behind 22 grand children, Shannon, Justin, Brianne, Justin, Emily, Kimberly, Kristine, Katherine, Michael, Jason, Alan, Kevin, Aaron, Zachary, William, Ryan, Bailey, Patrick, Adam, Allison, Taylor, Lindsay, and 9 great grand children Madelyn, Brooke, Grace, Reiss, Ashton, Aidan, Christian, Kenny, and Madeline. Beloved son of the late George F. and Pauline (nee Teclaw) McDonell. Beloved brother of Francis Morganti, Teresa Cesar, the late Agnus Boltz and Joseph McDonell. Thomas retired from the United States Air Force after proudly serving his country for 26 years including time in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. In addition, Thomas completed a second career of 25 years as a Field Service Engineer with Emerson Electric (SEI). He is currently a member of VFW Post 5077, O’Fallon, MO, and The American Legion Post 0313, St. Peters, MO.
