Thomas "Tom" R. Strunk

Thomas “Tom” R. Strunk, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Judith "Judy" Strunk; beloved fiancé to Carolyn Marty; cherished son of the late Virgil and Jewel Strunk. Devoted father of Tom (Angie) Strunk and Shannon (Jeff) Drake; loving grandfather of Allyson (Jake) Loewenstein, Shane Strunk, Cameron Strunk, Nolan Drake, and Ian Drake; treasured great-grandfather of Josie Loewenstein, Nellie Loewenstein, and Baby Loewenstein (On the way); dear brother in-law of Colleen (Craig) Allers; and dear brother of Candy Merriman; dear uncle and friend to many. Tom was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil Strunk, Ronald Strunk, and Gary Strunk. 

Tom dedicated over 45 years as a meat cutter. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton for over 25 years. A man deeply rooted in family values, he always put loved ones first and was a constant source of support and encouragement to those around him. His gentle and kind nature made him a pillar of strength and comfort, always ready to offer a helping hand without hesitation. Tom loved spending time with family first and foremost, whether attending their many sporting events, cooking for family get togethers or other occasions, family always came first. Later in life, Tom enjoyed traveling with Carolyn and the occasional trip to the casino. Known for his dependability and compassion, he was the kind of person others could always count on, whether offering support, sharing a laugh, or simply being there in times of need. Tom was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
