Thomas “Tommy” Schmid

Schmid, Thomas “Tommy,” of Saint Charles, MO, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the age of 26. Cherished son of Mike and Sandy Schmid; grandson of Lucille Crustals; loving nephew, Godson, cousin, and friend to many. Tommy is also survived by his beloved dog, Penny.
Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin F. and Charlotte Schmid and Edward Crustals, his uncle, Randy Crustals, and his cousin, Jeanette Schuetz.
At the age of 12 ½ years, Tommy earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Tommy was a graduate of Orchard Farm High School class of 2009. Following high school, he graduated from Southeast Lineman School in Georgia. He was a third generation sheet metal worker, member of Local #36. He was currently working for Weigmann and Associates. He was a volunteer firefighter with Orchard Farm and Rivers Pointe Fire Districts. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman. His passions were farming, duck hunting, deer hunting, and truck pulling. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Tommy was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to the Tommy Schmid Scholarship for Orchard Farm School.
