Thomas Jay Wischmeyer, of Troy, MO, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at the age of 56. Beloved husband of 35 years to his childhood sweetheart, Jeanne Wischmeyer; cherished son of Linda and the late Frank Wischmeyer; devoted father of Andrew Wischmeyer, Dillon Wischmeyer, David (Kaylee Kessler) Wischmeyer, and Chelsea (Devin) Justus; dear brother of Charity (Armando) Burrell, and Melanie (Robert) McGibney; loving grandfather of Carson Wischmeyer, Hunter Justus, Chase Justus, and Brooklynn Justus.
For six years, Thomas dedicated himself with pride and honor to serving in the US Army. A committed family man, he cherished and loved his family above all else. Thomas, alongside his beloved Jeanne, found joy in visiting the ranch together. Known for his reliability and intelligence, he had a passion for hunting and working on vintage trucks. An avid gun collector and coin enthusiast. Tom was a great carpenter and a jack of all trades. Thomas's warm presence and love left a lasting impact, and he will be profoundly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Thomas served as the Vice President of Guarantee Electrical Co. in St. Louis, MO, representing the second generation in this role. He devoted numerous years to upholding and advancing the company's legacy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Thomas's name to the American Heart Association.
