Thomas A. Wood

Thomas Alvin Wood, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Carol Johnson-Wood; first wife, the late Jean Wood; cherished son of the late Rayford and Margaret Wood; devoted father of Deborah (Carl) Bearden, Thomas P (Paula) Wood and Todd C (April Wood) Wood; stepfather of Jeffrey Johnson, Gregory Johnson and Todd (Casey) Johnson; loving grandfather of Amber (Michael) Chavez, Allison Bearden, Shana Wood, Joshua (Jessica) Wood, Adam (Amber) Wood, Ryan Wood, Lance (Alexis) Jenkins and Justin Jenkins; step grandfather of Christopher (Stacey) Duspiwa, Eric (EMJ) Johnson, Bailey Johnson, Lexi Johnson, Nicholas Walker and Logan Johnson; treasured great-grandfather of 14; dear brother of  Elroy "Butch" (Renee) Wood.

Thomas took care of everyone he loved, from the time he was born to the end of his life. He was known as a hard-worker who always put his family first. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, taking drives, cooking BBQ pork steaks and watching Cardinals baseball. Thomas was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Thomas's name to Alzheimer's Association.
