Thurman “Elroy” Coomer

Coomer, Thurman “Elroy”, of St. Peters, MO, died on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at the age of 79. Loving husband of the late Joyce Coomer; dear friend of Rosie Baugh; beloved son of the late Gus and Eleanor Coomer; devoted father of Terry Coomer and Kenneth (Rachel) Coomer; cherished grandfather of Elaine Coomer, William Coomer, Kevin Coomer, and Kendall (Jerod) Huckstep; dear brother of D'Orsay (the late Milford) Winchester, D'Alton (Dorothy) Coomer, Lurwin (Janet) Coomer, Verl Coomer, and the late Gussie Coomer; dear brother-in-law of Shirley Coomer; and also survived by many cousins and friends.

Elroy retired from Local 513 after more than 25 years in construction. He enjoyed gardening and maintained a half acre garden. He also enjoyed fishing and barbequing. Most of all he loved being with his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
