Timon "Clete" Cleatus Johnson

Timon “Clete” Cleatus Johnson of Wentzville, MO, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Nadine Johnson; cherished son of the late Timon and Beulah Johnson; devoted father of , Mark (Teddy) Johnson, Cindy (The Late Charlie) Morrow, Gene (Beverly) Johnson and Margaret (Michael Aholt) Johnson; loving grandfather of 9; treasured great-grandfather of 20; dear brother of Darlene (the late Bill) Eaton, the late Glenda (the late Clarence) Rest and the late Billy Cooley.

Clete was an accomplished big game hunter (bear, moose, elk and deer) and he also hunted on Safaris in Africa, Alaska and Canada. He hunted with his wife Nadine (The love of his life of 67 ½ years), who he taught how to hunt. Clete was not a picky eater, who also loved fishing and working on the farm. He was also a devoted member and supporter of the Church of the Nazarene.

Clete worked at McDonnell Douglas for 8 years then became a plumbing contractor for over 30 years. He proudly and honorably served in the United States Army and was a member of American Legion 323 in Wentzville.

Clete was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
