Timothy F. Schaefermeier-Hood, 52, a cherished resident of Wentzville, MO, peacefully passed away in his sleep at home on Saturday morning, March 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 3, 1971, in St. Louis, MO, Timothy was the beloved son of Lillian and Louis Hood.
Timothy leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, touching the lives of many. He is survived by his siblings: Kim Phoebus (Schaefermeier) of Wentzville, Micheal Schaefermeier of Flagstaff, AZ, Jennifer Alrashdi (Hood) of Wentzville, Stacey Hood of Wentzville, and Brandi Smith (Hood) and Brian of Troy. He was a dear uncle to Sean and Sarah Phoebus of Wentzville, Jacob Hood of Wentzville, Zach Alrashdi of Wentzville, Brandon, Brent, and Baylee Smith of Troy, and Joseph, Patrick, and Christopher Schaefermeier. Timothy was also a cherished great-uncle to Ian Monroe and Micheal Phoebus of Wentzville. He held a special place in the hearts of his aunts and uncles: Patricia Schneider (Parker) and Richard of Florissant, and Karen Parker of Florissant.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Louis Hood, his aunt Carol Korte (Parker) of Florissant, and his uncle’s Michael Parker of Florissant, Everett Hood of Kentucky, and Robert Hood of St. Louis. Whitey Schaefermeier of St. Louis.
Known for his kind heart and welcoming spirit, Timmy was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a knack for making everyone feel like family, greeting them with a smile and a handshake, introducing himself with his signature phrase, "Hi, I’m Tim." Tim had a passion for the St. Louis Cardinals, enjoyed looking through his hot rod books, and cherished his collection of Hot Wheels cars. His absence will be deeply felt by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
