Tom Harby, Sr.

Harby, Sr., Tom, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, December 20, 2010 at the age of 93. Loving husband of Juanita Harby (nee: Martin); dear son of the late Steven and Pauline Harbolovic; devoted father of Thomas (Phillis) Harby, Jr., Janet (Jerry) Dammer, and Carolyn (Tony) Ghiglione; cherished grandfather of 6, great-grandfather of 11, and great-great-grandfather of 2; dear brother of Anne Flynn, Sue Cannon, and Steve Harbolovic. Beloved uncle, cousin, step-brother and friend. Mr. Harby is preceded in death by his first wife Adeline P. Harby, and siblings Walter, Michael, and Olga Podolsky. Mr. Harby was employed as a Real Estate Developer, Vice President of Community Federal Savings and Loan, real estate developer and consultant land developer for Whittaker Homes Inc. He was also a Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion and was an avid golfer. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or Arthritis Foundation.
