Loving husband of Kathie Owens; dear son of the late John Prentiss and Dorothy Owens Ellis; devoted father of Justin Swires and Christopher Swires; beloved grandfather of Austin Swires; dear brother of Angie (Frank) Holrath; dear nephew of Mable (Lowell) Rivers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tom was the CFO with Charles E. Jarrell Contracting; his passion was golf and sports. He was a member of the Lake Forest Country Club and the American Sub Contractors Association.
