Tony Brusca
July 15, 1953 — January 23, 2022
Tony Brusca, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the age of 68. Loving husband of 45 years to Cindy Brusca; beloved son of Phillip Brusca and the late Marion “Joy” Brusca; devoted father of Rob Brusca and Ryan (Megan) Brusca; cherished Poppa of Jacob Brusca, Brennan Wilson, Allison Brusca, Easton Brusca and Jackson Brusca; dearest brother of Michael (Sheryl Stevenson) Brusca, Roger (Annie) Brusca, and the late Teresa Roberson; and brother-in-law of Philip Roberson. Tony was a dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Tony was a veteran of the Gulf War and retired as a Staff Sargeant from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a devout Catholic, as well as an avid Harley lover. In retirement he could be found on his Harley with Cindy riding through Augusta. Tony enjoyed traveling with his family, especially to Key West, where he could be found at Schooner Wharf listening to Michael McCloud. He loved to dance and listen to Rock n’ Roll, especially Bob Seger. In his high school years, he was quite the wrestler and taught his sons how to wrestle on the living room floor. He encouraged them when they were involved in the sport as well. His tutelage helped Ryan go undefeated in his eighth grade year and Rob placed top ten at the California state wrestling championships his senior year. Above all, Tony was the most loving husband and best dad. He was a father figure to many of his sons' friends and those “stray” friends that wandered in. He was the sweetest man around, and he never complained about anything and always took a positive approach to life. Tony was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorial contributions may be made in Tony’s name to Mid America Transplant. Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
