On Thursday, April 30, 2020, Tonya Sue Harms, loving wife and mother of three, passed away at age 72.
Sue was born January 19, 1948 in Ashland, Kentucky to Brad and Elizabeth Hood, but was raised in Kearns, Utah. As a military spouse, she traveled the world with her family and eventually retired to Wentzville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers. She passed away in the SSM Lake St. Louis Hospital after a protracted battle with pneumonia and kidney failure. She is survived by her husband George of more than 50 years and her three children: George, Jeff, Amy and her brother Randy Hood of Kearns, UT and Grandchildren: Alex and George V.
She was an exceptional wife and mother. She was a retired Travel Agent, writer, avid shopper and in later years developed a strange fascination with reality tv. She was an intelligent and humorous woman with an excellent smile and a compassionate spirit. She is and will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be limited to small groups at Baue Cave Springs, 3950 W. Clay Street. Due to Covid-19 the funeral service will be immediate family only. Flowers, can be sent to Baue Cave Springs, 3950 W. Clay Street.
