Tracy Johnston-Fiacco
September 23, 1961 — April 27, 2022
Tracy Johnston-Fiacco of O’Fallon, Mo and Englewood, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 after a brief struggle with lung cancer. Tracy was born in Santa Monica, California and raised in O’Fallon, Illinois, where she graduated from O’Fallon Township High School. For most of her adult life, she worked in the pharmacy industry as a Pharmacy Systems Analyst for several companies, including Change Healthcare, Medicine Shoppe International, Duane Reade Pharmacies and PDX Pharmacy Systems. Her career took her to Dallas, and New York City, before settling in the St. Louis area, where she met and married her true love, best friend and soulmate, John. Tracy will be remembered by all who met her as a beautiful, funny, caring person, with a contagious laugh, who found good in all people and all things. She was a loving wife, stepmother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, traveling, decorating her homes and shopping, especially with her friend Carla. Tracy is predeceased by her parents, William and Margaret (Sue) Johnston, nee Hurley, her brothers James Scott Johnston and William Patrick Johnston and her favorite dog, Maximus. She will be missed by her husband John Fiacco, a brother William Kevin Johnston, sister Sandra Elizabeth Daniels, stepdaughters Jaime (Dana Schnell) Fiacco, Jodie (Joseph) Howell, granddaughters Rose and Lauren Howell, brothers in law Richard (Linda) Fiacco, Robert (Kathy) Fiacco, sisters in law Lisa (Michael) Klodowski, Christine (Scott) Pionteck and Debra Johnston and two very special cousins, Cynthia (Ray) Clower and Tiffany Bianco. Tracy is also survived by her lifelong friend Carla Thorpe, her Hurley family cousins and her two furry daughters Emma and Jenny. Tracy will forever be in our hearts. We will never forget her smile, her laugh, her kindness and the beauty she brought to us. Memorial donations may be made in Tracy’s name to Five Acres Animal Shelter or the American Lung Association. Visitation will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in New Melle, MO on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 10AM. The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM at the church. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
