Troy A. Young

Troy A. Young, of Saint Louis, MO, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Lori Miller Young; cherished son of the late Cordelia Vaughn Reynolds Young and Troy A. Young Sr.; devoted father of Troy IV, Stephanie, the late Kristy (Guy), Joel (Arielle), Darrion, and his fur baby, Luna; loving grandfather of Alexander, Jaxson, Nyla, London, Xayver, Joel Jr., and Ariana; dear brother of Cynthia Young, Leah (Lavon) Hopkins, and the late Jonathan Young; treasured son-in-law of Louemma (the late James Miller Sr.) Miller; brother-in-law of Leonda (Edward) Woods, Kimberly Miller, and the late James Miller Jr; Troy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.

Troy, a lifelong member of OMEGA PSI PHI Fraternity Inc., proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy and dedicated nine years to the Alabama State Police. He retired as a Senior Lead Court Security Officer at the United States Federal Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri after 24 Years of exemplary service. Troy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Troy's name to the American Heart Association or any Veteran's Organization of the donor's choice.
